Two things in life are sure to get your heart racing:

Now, for the first time ever, you can experience the thrill of these two worlds colliding. This coming weekend’s Tetris 99 12^th MAXIMUS CUP event will give players a chance to earn an in-game theme that brings the invigorating atmosphere of Ring Fit Adventure to Tetris 99. 

The Tetris 99 12^th MAXIMUS CUP event runs from 12 a.m. PT on April 24 to 11:59 p.m. PT on April 27. To compete, Nintendo Switch Online members* just need to play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. Players will earn event points based on their placement in each match. Once players have accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring background art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Ring Fit Adventure. Just like in Ring Fit Adventure, with enough dedication and consistency you’ll have the opportunity to claim victory! 

Tetris 99 features online competitive modes exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members. Owners of the digital version of the game can purchase the optional Big Block DLC, which adds several offline modes. 

A physical version of Tetris 99 is also available. For a suggested retail price of $29.99, the physical version includes the game, all DLC and a 12-Month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership.** 

In the Ring Fit Adventure game, available for the Nintendo Switch system, you can traverse grass-swept plains by jogging in place, attack enemies with overhead shoulder presses and refill your health meter by striking some yoga poses.
